I offer small, quick and affordable photography packages as a means of Fundraising for Team Diabetes. I used to photograph Weddings and all day events but decided to step back from that sort of contract.
After talking to Kaleigh, I changed my mind. A modest and beautiful backyard wedding with only a couple hours coverage was all her and Anthony wanted for their wedding day. With the small threat of a storm in the air, it seemed to have cleared up just for their event. During... the 'I do's' the sun came out and gave such a gorgeous glow through the lovely tree that served the backdrop.
Here are a couple of my favourites from the day - it was hard to choose only 2.
If you have an event this summer - whether a party, or family re-union, or a get together with friends - please consider hiring me to document the event. The photography packages I offer are customizable based on your requirements, just feel free to contact me and we can chat :)
All proceeds go to charity for Diabetes Canada, and trust me - it's a wonderful cause.
Thank you Kaleigh & Anthony for inviting me to take part in your Wedding Day! Wish you both nothing but the best!
So Wednesday and Thursday were devoted to editing and preparing the online gallery for them - which was perfect timing as these days were stormy and rainy.
Friday, I was talking to my friend Sarah, stressing about not making my kilometers for the week and she encouraged me to go for a walk with her and her awesome kiddos. It was a fun long walk and I felt much better. And then on Saturday I had to bring my car into get the brakes fixed (among other things) and decided to walk the LOOOONG way home. Down Baskin, down Duncan, and down Part 1 of the McNab/Braeside Path all the way home. In the afternoon, Matthew, Sneakers and I walked to mom and dad's for his Birthday/Father's day celebrations! It was a great meal and great company. I love chatting with them :)
- 10th week of no smoking! Holy Crow!
- At the end of this week, I need $1,875 more to go for Fundraising, but I am 75% of the way there! $5,625 out of $7,500!
