Never judge a book by it's cover!
I have 8 eligible & new (never previously owned) books ready to go on a blind date with you.
Only 6 more books will be available to insure that even the last person to go on a blind date will have atleast 3 options to choose from....
The next person to buy a $13 spot at going on a blind date will have 8 different options! You can either emt me your $13.00, or directly donate on my pledge page.
Once I get your donation, I will either FB message or email you images of your potential "dates" and you get to choose one. As each book gets chosen the list of available bachelo...I mean books, gets smaller.
Why not take a leap of faith and try reading something new?
It might be true love....
That same night, came the depression and feeling sad and sorry for myself. I was antsy but my body didn't feel like walking. I was mentally and physically exhausted for some reason, so I went for a drive and I took mom to scope out the roads by The Mill of Kintail as I would like to walk them at some point. While driving we saw 6 turtles! Sorry 5 turtles... one was a shoe. Ha! I helped a small one cross the street as well. Then driving back we went a different way, and went through Blakeney. We stopped at the Park. We explored. Oh wow! What a gorgeous place! We explored for what felt like hardly any time and then had to run to the car as it started pouring rain. It was a close call. If we were any further from the car we'd have been drenched.
Tuesday I hit 80% in Fundraising and I was happy but felt even more exhausted.
Wednesday, a Migraine of epic proportions hit and man oh man, was I ever feeling sorry for myself. This week has been bad for sugar consumption. I saw a video that said you can't out exercise diabetes. The majority of the control is from diet, and I have been failing so bad.
Thursday, I still was mopey and feeling just down right morose, but I forced myself to go out walking. Mom met up with me and I got eaten ALIVE. The mosquitos on the wooded path we took just loved my high glucose blood.
Friday, I spent the evening hours with my friend to celebrate her Birthday and on Saturday I went to a beautiful wedding but still got a 2 km walk in.
Feeling a bit down about my lack of walking this week - but I'm not stressing out about it much.
- 11th week of no smoking! YES! Go Me!!! (Even after being tempted at the wedding to have cigarette, I didn't!)
- At the end of this week, I need $1,488 more to go for Fundraising, but I am 80% of the way there! $6,012out of $7,500!
Here is my Participant's Pledge Page;
